b. Corbin Bleu Reivers, 21 February 1989, Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. Although best known as an actor, Bleu also enjoyed notable success on the US mainstream charts in the mid-00s. The son of Jamaican American actor David Reivers, he began modelling at an early age before securing a role in the television series High Incident. Now resident in Los Angeles, Bleu studied at the city's County High School for the Art while furthering his acting career. A string of movie roles followed in the late 90s and early 00s, with Bleu making his lead debut in the 2004 movie Catch That Kid. Two years later he played the role of Chad in the highly successful Disney Channel movie High School Musical. Bleu sang on "We're All In This Together", one of the many hit songs to be released from the soundtrack. He enjoyed a US Top 20 hit of his own at the start of 2007 with the slick urban pop of "Push It To The Limit". The track was drawn from the soundtrack of the Disney Channel movie Jump In!, starring Bleu and Keke Palmer.
